"Food Planet Future"with Robert Dash

Robert Dash, author/photographer of “Food Planet Future,” is a featured speaker sponsored by the Sammamish Valley Grange, in conjunction with the Sammamish Valley Harvest Celebration, Saturday, October 12th, at 21 Acres in Woodinville.

The presentation beginning at 1:00 p.m., highlights Dash’s recent book release, “Food Planet Future: The Art of Turning Food and Climate Perils Into Possibilities.” Showcasing how everyday foods connects us all, Dash shares how art, research and innovative practices reimagine the tangled crises of food security, climate change, and biodiversity loss.

A career science educator and self-taught photographer, Robert Dash searches out small subjects with large stories about climate, conservation, and biodiversity. His work has been published by TIME, Buzzfeed, and National Geographic.
