(one weekend only) Community Actor’s Theater presents Master Storyteller P.S. Perkins telling of FINDING HER short stories from her Fictional Memoir STORIES FROM THE MIRROR. P.S. shares a young girl’s personal account of her family’s silence sorrows and successes as they navigate upward mobility after the Civil Rights Act of 1964.What happens when generations share their truths while carefully helping our young people create a new song of hope resilience and respect for self and others? Come and listen laugh and shed a tear with P.S. and members of the CAT actors and patrons’ community! This piece was originally performed for the DC Black Theater Festival Summer 2019.(Age Appropriate: 10 & up) *Contains some sensitive language.
