"Field Guide" Candlemaking at Woolly Bear Books

North Ave Candles is bringing the Mobile Candle Bar back to Woolly Bear Books & Gifts!
Come join us at Woolly Bear Books and Gifts on Saturday April 18th to create your own nature inspired custom candle.
Stop in any time from 11am to 4pm.
Start by choosing a decal for your jar.
We will have a variety of decals celebrating local, native flora and fauna to choose from.
A few examples of decal designs include:

• eastern bluebird
• baltimore oriole
• luna moth
• monarch butterfly
• phlox
• mountain laurel
• hen-of-the-woods mushrooms
• the woolly bear caterpillar (of course!)

and many more!
Work with over 30 earthy, botanical scent options to blend your own signature fragrance.
Then mix and pour your candle.
The finishing touch is a plantable wildflower seed paper dust cover!
After pouring, candles take approximately an hour to set, giving you the perfect excuse to browse Woolly Bear, explore the neighborhood, or pop back another day to pick up your creation.
Tickets aren't required.
$36 the day of, but save 10% by making a reservation (it helps us plan!)
