The St Clement's Players bring a whimsical programme of childhood stories, fairy tales and nursery rhymes.
Quilter's "A Children's Overture" will remind us of forgotten childhood songs, while Ravel's "Mother Goose suite" explores medieval fairy tales both beautiful and sinister. The recital wraps up with Prokofiev's dramatic "Peter and the Wolf".
The recital begins at 1.00pm, and all are welcome. As ever, entry to every recital is free of charge. A retiring collection is taken to support our performers, and also to contribute to our growing Organ Redevelopment Fund at St Clement's.
