About this Event

About this Event:

Life's journey is marked by constant change—endings and beginnings that shape our existence. The "Endings" Breathwork Workshop is here to guide you through these transitions. Whether you're facing the end of a relationship, mourning a loved one, loss of a pet, awareness
of a future ending that is coming closer, or navigating a career shift, our workshop provides a nurturing environment to explore your emotions—be it sadness, anger, relief, or confusion—and release the emotions of these endings.

In this safe space, we encourage you to fully immerse in your feelings, allowing self-love and compassion to flourish. Through breathwork, you'll learn to embrace the past and step forward into the future with resilience and an open heart. Join us to transform your endings into new beginnings, finding peace and clarity on your path forward.

What is Conscious Connect Breathwork:

Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB), is a specific type of Breathwork, that is a powerful self-healing technique, that promotes improved physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. As human beings, we hold onto tension, feelings, and trauma within our bodies and many of our triggers/stressors/repeating patterns in life, have these trapped emotions at their core. Conscious Connected Breathwork supports you to step away from your thinking/doing mind and move into the presence of your body, trusting your body knows best, it knows how to heal and transform, allowing emotions to come to the surface, so that they can be fully felt and released.

Responses can be wide-ranging. It is held in a safe and healing space, with the intention that whatever is ready to be experienced or moved is completely welcomed and there is peace with being present.

Benefits of Conscious Connected Breath

Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) is a powerful and beneficial practice for personal transformation, releasing stored emotions and blocked energy, addressing subconscious patterns and behaviours, processing past traumas, experiencing deep relaxation, promoting better sleep, increased energy and feelings of happiness, reduced feelings of low mood and anxiety

What does a Conscious Connected Breath look like?

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a circular breath through an open mouth. The inhale is active, and the exhale is passive, and every inhale is connected to every exhale as we breathe into our whole body.

What is a Sound Bath?

Though a Sound Bath may seem like a new age concept, the practice of healing bodies through sound is technically thousands of years old with deep roots in cultures across the world. This spiritual, cleansing music varies according to place and culture, but it can be as simple as chanting an om following your yoga session or as complex as an hour-long experience in a dedicated space with a sound practitioner.

In general, a sound bath is a meditative experience where those present are bathed in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, such as gongs, singing bowls, rattles and even the human voice.

Benefits of a Sound Bath Research has shown that a sound bath can help to deeply relax the body, calm the mind, and heal the nervous system.

Sound therapy is rooted in science and based on the principles of quantum physics and sacred geometry. There are hundreds of clinical trials and peer-reviewed white paper studies on the healing properties of sound. In fact, Western medicine uses sound waves in the form of ultrasound technology, which can be used to break up kidney stones among other things.

Bodywork:

Bodywork will be used throughout the CCB element of the workshop. Various hands-on therapies and techniques such as acupressure, passive stretching and palming along energy lines will help to release blockages and restore energy. Comforting hands / Reiki will also be used to nurture, support and guide each participant. However, there will also be an opportunity at the beginning to let the facilitators know if you prefer to receive no touch.

"Really enjoyed everything about it, so wonderfully relaxing and I felt I went on a profound journey". Gemma, Brighton

About Charlotte:

Charlotte is a Yoga Teacher, Massage Therapist, Health Coach and Sound Practitioner. She is deeply passionate about people, health, nutrition, and well-being. A passion that may have deeper roots, but which became more apparent when she started her own personal wellness journey about fifteen years ago. Nearing the end of a corporate career in the city of London, her body was aching from the pressures of working in stressful, high-pressure environments, and a tonic was required. For Charlotte health and wellness are about connecting to ourselves and our true natures. By giving ourselves time and space, by creating an environment in which the body can self-heal, by being heard and empowered, self-development will happen naturally.
