DRAWING FROM OBSERVATION with instructor Elizabeth Fontenot:
Over the course of four two-hour sessions, students age 16 and up from beginner and intermediate levels will hone the basics and sharpen their art skills using pencil and charcoal with a focus on drawing from observation, including an introduction to materials and gesture drawing. (Students age 18+ will be able to continue studying figure drawing at two additional Wednesday Life Drawing sessions during the course.) All materials are provided for use in the classroom, but students may wish to have their own sketchbook as well.
