ABOUT THE SHOW
A tragedy based on the life and death of Faustus, a scholar who makes a pact with the seductive devil, Mephistopheles: in exchange for his eternal soul, twenty-four years of supernatural power and knowledge.
Faustus travels the world during this time and weaves chaos into the lives of the many people he encounters. Some are bloody, some are petty and absurd. After twenty-four years, Mephistopheles comes to collect and Faustus, whose willingness to repent arrives too late, is condemned to eternal damnation. His story becomes the cautionary tale for those who abuse their means of achieving and withholding power.
The play is layered with an atheistic attitude toward the Protestant beliefs that dominated its time. Its depiction of magic blends the occult with the fantastical, inviting controversy throughout the centuries.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
“Doctor Faustus” contains the following: Supernatural and Religious content, Mild Gore, Death, Suicide, and Violence.
