DIETRICH, is a Broadway-styled musical about the noble life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer.Now, more than ever, people need to be reminded of what it means to be NOBLE, to be inspired to be generous, to be loving, and even to lay down your life for your friends. That’s what Dietrich Bonhoeffer did. He was one of the few Germans who stood up against Adolph Hitler, the greatest evil of the 20th century. He paid for that stance with his life.
This exciting staged reading features a full orchestra conducted by Professor Ruth Noemy Orellana-Wheeler, Sam Garcia playing Dietrich, Hannah Ruston as Maria, Traivon Williams as Frank and Dominic Salvati as Gerhardt. A cast of thirteen other of CBU’s most skilled students and alumni will make this an experience you won’t want to miss.
