This event was Established in 2014; Screaming Woods took a short break—but now we’re coming back to life for 2025. We can’t wait to meet YOU!
FAQ:
Q: What is a scare meeting?
A: We’ll chat about Screaming Woods, collect your availability, and (weather permitting) take a short walk on the trail.
Q: If I’ve worked with Screaming Woods before, do I need to come?
A: Yes. We’ll need your updated availability, assign you a position on the trail, and review character roles.
Q: What if I can’t make either meeting?
A: Email me: [email protected] - Message me or call me 605-367-9871 (Tues - Fri. 11am-7pm, Saturday 9am-5pm-archery shop hours.)
Q: Do I need experience?
A: Nope! All you need is a good attitude, willingness to try, and desire to have fun.
Q: How old do I need to be?
A: Ages 16 to 93+ are welcome!
Q: Do I get paid for helping?
A: While this is a volunteer-based haunt, there are cash tips & perks including:
💵 A cash tip for each night you work
💰 A bonus if you work all 4 nights
🎟 A ticket for a friend to watch you in action
🍕 Cast pizza party & crew appreciation
🎁 Entry into drawings & giveaways
We’ll go over all perks, drawings, dress/footwear for the trail, and bonus details at the scare meetings.

Friday & Saturday Nights, 7:30 PM – 11:00 PM
👉 Pro tip: Wear comfortable shoes if you’d like to walk the trail during the meeting.
>>> we have costumes and mask to use for event or bring what you have and see if it can be incorporated into haunt.
