About this Event
Description of Topic
Wage and hour claims and complaints are on the rise! Complying with the myriad of wage and hour rules and regulations can feel overwhelming. This seminar will help employers avoid common misconceptions and pitfalls that, if neglected, will likely lead to costly violations, claims or legal action. Learn how to avoid these costly mistakes and how to correct them proactively before any claims may be filed. Join us while we cover topics such as exempt vs non-exempt, allowable pay deductions, calculating OT, meal and rest break violations, bonuses, and how all these play into PAGA (Private Attorney’s General Act), Wage & Hour claims and lawsuits.
