Join sacred collective, formerly known as the Wesley Center, in an unveiling of our organization’s new space!“Come to the Table” with sacred collective, is an unveiling of our organization’s new space located at 213 N Linn St. in Iowa City. We are hosting this event with the goal of fundraising for the renovations that will occur beginning this summer!
This event will take place at our new location and it will include an art gallery, featuring several local artists, light refreshments, a rollout of our vision for the new space and an invitation for input from our supporters, and more. Attendees can enter a drawing for door prizes from enfleshed, FilmScene, and RAYGUN.
For over 100 years, the Wesley Center, now called sacred collective, has partnered with University of Iowa students to create a spiritual home on campus, nurture justice-seeking leaders, and pattern our lives in rhythms of grace, solidarity, and deep connection with each other, the Divine, and the Earth. sacred collective at the University of Iowa is a spiritual community for students with diverse experiences and backgrounds. We invite students to be, belong, breathe, and be nourished—without qualification or reservation. We do that best at a table, sharing our stories and finding connections, whether over coffee, homemade meals, or chocolate.
