"Christ the King" Choir and Orchestra-Led Worship Service

I am excited to announce that we have been invited to be a part of a LCMS mass choir and orchestra-led worship service, "Christ the King", in conjunction with Trinity Lutheran and Redeemer Lutheran churches in Springfield to be held at Redeemer in Springfield on Sunday, November 23, at 6:30 pm. The service will follow the order of Prayer & Preaching (LSB 260) and will include a homily from Pastor Timothy Steckling, Pastor at Faith Lutheran in Springfield. Caleb Staehr, Director of Parish Music at Trinity Lutheran in Springfield will be directing the music.We are inviting any of our members that would like to be a part of the choir or orchestra, to please contact me for more information as soon as possible. I have books of the choral music available for those participating. If you are interested in playing in the orchestra, I will pass on your name and instrument Caleb Staehr, and he will be contacting you with more information.
There will also be opportunity for any children that would like to participate, singing the canticles, New Testament Canticle, LSB 266 & Old Testament Canticle, LSB 261.
This will be so exciting to come together with LCMS congregations to worship and praise the Lord together!
Even if you are not interested in being a part of the orchestra or choir, our hope is that you keep us all in prayer and attend this worship event, if possible. Mark your calendars for Sunday, November 23 at 6:30 pm, Redeemer Lutheran in Springfield!

The tentative rehearsal/performance schedule is as follows:
Saturday, November 8 (9am to Noon)- Branson area churches Choral rehearsal at Faith Lutheran Branson, with Caleb Staehr.
Sunday, November 16 (3pm to 4:30pm) - Choir Only, Springfield
Tuesday, November 18 (6pm to 7:30pm)- Orchestra Only, Springfield
Thursday, November 20 (6pm to 7:30pm)- Orchestra Only, Springfield
Saturday, November 22 (2pm to 3pm) - Choir Only, and (3pm to 4:30pm) Choir & Orchestra
Sunday, November 23 - 5:15 pm, Call Time
