"Candidate Conversations"

Your Voice Matters. Your Vote Matters !!!
Owensboro Blue Bridge Pride and The Coalition for an Inclusive Daviess County invite you to join us for an evening of meaningful conversation with the people asking for your vote.
Too often, we hear, "I don't know who to vote for." This is your opportunity to change that.
Local elections have a direct impact on our daily lives. The people we elect make decisions about our community, our libraries, public safety, county services, funding, and the future of Daviess County. As LGBTQIA+ people and allies, showing up, staying informed, and voting are some of the most powerful ways we can advocate for ourselves and our neighbors.
Join us on Tuesday, August 25, at 6:30 PM at the Hampton Inn Waterfront for a curated conversation between our community and the candidates.
6:30–7:30 PM: County Commission candidates, including candidates for Judge Executive
Beginning at 7:30 PM: City Commission candidates
The conversations will be moderated by David Norris and Owensboro Blue Bridge Prides own Jordan Blake-Key, providing an opportunity for respectful dialogue and thoughtful discussion about the issues that matter to our community.
Whether you've already made up your mind or you're still deciding, this is a chance to hear directly from the candidates, learn where they stand, and make an informed choice when you cast your ballot.
Together, let's make sure LGBTQIA+ voices are heard...not just during Pride, but at the ballot box. Every vote matters, every voice matters, and together we can help shape the future of our community.
