**THIS TOUR IS FULL**
In support of the City of Pensacola's month-long Juneteenth celebration, FPAN is excited to offer its very first kayak tour exploring the natural and cultural history of the Pensacola waterfront around Bruce Beach!
Although we recommend kayaks for this tour, any non-motorized watercraft is welcome (canoes, stand-up paddle boards, etc.). All participants are required to bring their own watercraft.
This tour will last approximately two hours; participants will be traveling at a leisurely pace approximately 1.6 miles roundtrip along the downtown Pensacola waterfront.
Tour participants will meet at 9:00am at Bruce Beach (601 W Main St, Pensacola, FL 32502) for a safety briefing and an introduction before we set out on the water. There is parking at Bruce Beach, but participants will need to be able to walk or roll their kayak a short distance to the beach to launch. FPAN staff will be present to assist.
Additional recommended gear should include sun protection, water, and snacks (if desired). Participants will be asked to fill out a liability waiver on site in order to participate in the tour.
**RSVP INFORMATION:**
This event is open to the public, but RSVPs are required. Space is limited to 20 participants, so please e-mail [email protected] to reserve your spot.
This tour is offered for free, but cash donations at the end of the tour are much appreciated and help us continue to offer other amazing learning opportunities!
This tour is recommended for ages 13+; participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
