We are so excited to bring to Marjorie Park! Sister Sadie is an all-female bluegrass band hailing from Nashville, Tennessee. What began as a one-time jam session at the legendary Station Inn quickly evolved into a powerhouse group known for its high-energy performances, tight harmonies, and top-tier musicianship. Sister Sadie is a Grammy-nominated, IBMA-sweeping, Grand Ole Opry-starring force that you do not want to miss!
Sister Sadie features a dynamic lineup of award-winning artists: Deanie Richardson (fiddle), Gena Britt (banjo), Jaelee Roberts (guitar/vocals), Dani Flowers (guitar/vocals), Rainy Miatke (mandolin/vocals), and Katie Blomarz-Kimball (bass/vocals). Their blend of traditional bluegrass roots with modern flair has earned them critical acclaim and a devoted fanbase.
Sister Sadie has topped the Billboard Bluegrass charts, been named Entertainer of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association, and continues to break new ground in the genre with their latest album All Will Be Well.
We are also thrilled to welcome The Cody Sisters as our opener for this show! This band is the very heart of contemporary acoustic Folk and Bluegrass music in Colorado, the United States and the UK. The Cody Sisters are known for their intricate instrumental solos, tight vocal harmonies, and original songwriting. With Maddie Cody on banjo, Megan Cody on mandolin, both women on guitar, and Will Pavilonis on the upright bass, this band blends youthful energy with seasoned musicianship to create a captivating musical experience.
