The Heart and Soul Music Festival, in partnership with the Florida Education Consortium, Inc., are proud to present Black Man by Jon Wesley Covington.
Join us for a special FREE screening of this compelling documentary at the Orlando Museum of Art on Friday, October 11th, at 5 p.m. Experience a heartfelt exploration as Black men aged 21 to 91 share their personal insights on life, love, aspirations, and the Black experience in America—while challenging stereotypes and fostering understanding. Following the screening, engage in a thought-provoking panel discussion and Q&A session featuring the director, Jon Covington, and other distinguished guests. Local community partners will also be present to provide valuable information. Enjoy light refreshments and a limited bar selection.
Seating is limited, so please RSVP as walk-ins will not be permitted.
Doors open at 5 p.m. for a pre-reception. At 5:40 p.m., our hosts for the evening, Paul Allen Billings and Rod Love, will set the stage for the event. The documentary will start at 6 p.m., followed by the panel discussion and Q&A, concluding promptly at 8 p.m.
