Bangor United is the first multicultural festival of its kind in the City of Bangor.
A vibrant, inclusive celebration of the diverse cultures that enrich our community.
Proudly hosted at the Bangor Public Library and organized by Chispa, a local nonprofit dedicated to civic engagement, connection, and cultural celebration across Maine, this free event promises something for everyone.
The festival will feature music, dance performances, cultural exhibits, children activities, food, and resource tables representing the many communities that call Bangor home.
Attendees will be invited to explore the library transformed into a cultural journey. Children can participate in an interactive passport adventure, collecting stamps from different cultural stations for a chance to win fun prizes through raffle drawings.
