Opportunity House invites you to celebrate the creativity of our staff and the individuals we serve at our annual Spring Art Exhibition. Since 2012, this event has given our participants the chance to explore various art forms, gain confidence in their abilities, and share their hard work with the community. Guests will have the chance to explore a vast gallery of artwork, including paintings, sculpture, photography, fiber arts, mixed media, and more.
This year, Opportunity House will join the likes of famous art museums around the nation in hosting "Art in Bloom", a spring art exhibition showcasing the incredible artwork of Opportunity House, imaginatively interpreted by live floral arrangements. In partnership with Willrett Floral Company, the evening will feature a live floral arrangement inspired by client artwork, arranged on site and available for silent auction.
This free event is open to the public, and we warmly invite everyone to join us in celebrating the artistic achievements of Opportunity House’s talented individuals. It will also feature live music, a cash bar, and raffle opportunities for floral arrangements and artwork donated by local artists from groups including the Kishwaukee Valley Art League and Jubilee Artisans.
