About this Event
Synopsis

Hydrogen is ubiquitous in the scientific and general media, often described as a wonder fuel. This seminar will question whether hydrogen is being over-sold in the UK. Hydrogen’s role in delivering net zero in the UK will be critiqued and compared with other low carbon energy pathways.

Our Speaker

Tom Baxter graduated from Strathclyde University in 1975 with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (first class honours). He is a Fellow of the IChemE. In 1991 he left BP and joined Altra Consultants as Technical Manager. He accepted a position as Technical Director with Genesis in 1998 and became the Aberdeen Business Unit Director in 2005.
