Join us on October 3rd, 2024 for Shelter Care's Annual Dave Fair Legacy Fundraiser including the new Big Dipper Competition! Our event theme this year is ‘And You Gave’. These three simple words make all the difference to young people and families who are in desperate need to hear them. Because of friends like you, children can say “I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.” Teen moms can say “I was homeless and you gave me a place to stay.” Families can say “I was hopeless and you gave me a reason to believe again.” “I was in need, and you gave.”
Thank you for all your kindness this year! We're excited to share stories with you about the impact your partnership and generosity have made in the lives of young people and families in need in the Greater Summit County Area.
Also, help us in deciding the winner of this year's Big Dipper Competition! From 5:15pm-6:15pm, join us for a new and fun format of appetizers including a friendly competition of local celebrities, tasty dips, and your votes determining the sought after Big Dipper Award. Dinner and dessert are also included.
