Eric Baker will performSteven Heitzeg's “American Nomad” with the West Texas Symphony on Saturday, November 8.This work is a musical “trip” across our great nation, starting in New York and ending at the mighty Pacific Ocean.
As a celebration of America and her music, each movement of the work requires the performer to improvise and features several trumpet mutes to alter the sound and evoke the history of jazz in our country.
