Join us at Casements Bar on August 11 for a licensed public screening of "All of Us Strangers," part of the back patio summer film series benefiting nonprofit counseling agency Queer LifeSpace.
The evening begins with a panel discussion moderated by comedian, writer, and Queer Film Theory 101 curator Michael Foulk, featuring:
- Joshua Grannell / Peaches Christ — filmmaker, writer, producer, and legendary San Francisco drag performer
- Cameron Haruta — queer, nonbinary writer and filmmaker behind the upcoming short film Order for Owen
- Eli Calderone — queer academic whose work explores horror, cultural fears, trans identity, and queer experience
We’ll also feature a special preview of Cameron Haruta’s Order for Owen, a short film about a young trans man experiencing the affirmation of his newly chosen name.
Then we’ll screen "All of Us Strangers," an intimate and haunting story of love, loneliness, memory, family, and queer identity starring Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal.
