Chris Andrews is a Mobile native with a passion for connecting people through food and storytelling. As the founder and owner of Bienville Bites Food Tour, he has put Mobile on the national map, with his tours consistently ranked as some of the "Best Food Tours in the U.S." by USA Today. Chris is also the host of the Port City Plate podcast and was recently recognized in Mobile Bay Magazine’s "40 Under 40."
About the Book: A Culinary History of Mobile
In his book, Chris takes readers on a "delectable romp" through over 300 years of Mobile’s history. He explores how Native, European, and African traditions blended to create a unique culinary "gumbo" that you can still taste in our city's streets today. Whether you're a lifelong Mobilian or a visiting foodie, you’ll leave with a new appreciation for every bite you take in the Azalea City.
