About this Event

Women in Sustainability is excited to host a members-only private viewing of "A Good Neighbor" produced by WIS filmmakers Brittany Zampella and Maggie Hart of Farsighted Creative for a Sunday movie matinee. The film is limited to 30 seats and will be hosted graciously by Denver Film in The Clasen Theater at the Sie Filmcenter on Sunday, March 26 at 2:30pm. "A Good Neighbor" premiered at the Colorado Environmental Film Festival on February 26, 2023 to a diverse and engaged audience followed by a standing ovation for the filmmakers. Want to know how you can take action in Colorado? Following the film, there will be a panel conversation with Lucy Molina, Mom's Clean Air Force, 350 Colorado and moderated by Brittany and Maggie covering important topics featured in the film. Come for the education and leave inspired to take action! Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.

The Film

A Good Neighbor is a feature-length documentary about Lucy Molina, a Latina single mother's fight against racism and climate change as she campaigned for city council in one of the nation’s most polluted zip codes. Watch the Trailer!
