"A Conversation in Color:" A Collab by Jon Witzky & Samantha Mack in the Drive Thru Art Box
Schedule

Location
Green Truck Pub | Savannah, GA
In this ongoing collaboration, two artists engage in dialogue through nightly contributions to a canvas of diffused light. On alternating evenings, one artist provides input while the other is away, shifting the color, texture, or qualities of light within the installation. Gestures may be subtle or drastic and made in any medium, but the artists stipulate that materials may only be added or altered – never removed. Through this framework, the project echoes the rhythms of verbal expression, building upon the ideas of each party to arrive at surprising conclusions greater than the sum of their parts.
The Drive Thru Art Box was started in 2012 by Matt Hebermehl and Mike Williams as part of the SeeSAW (See Savannah Art Walls) Project, a public arts initiative. Jessica Leigh Lebos led the way with the first yarn bomb installation. Sulfur Studios is proud to continue this unique way of presenting public art to the local community.
"A Conversation in Color" will be on display at the Drive Thru Art Box through February 8th, 2022, and can be seen anytime of day or night.
