Join us for a free in-person event hosted by the College Endowment Association on October 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at the Woman's Club of Wisconsin. The College Endowment Association is primarily comprised of women of a variety of ages. Men are always welcomed to attend and many do with their wives. A biological journey of discovery from the shaping of the Great Lakes by the glaciers, to human alternations, and into the future climate.
Presenter Titus Seilheimer has been a fisheries specialist with Wisconsin Sea Grant since 2012 where he leads research, outreach, and education activities focused on Great Lakes fisheries and ecosystems. He has a B.A. in Biology from Lawrence University and a Ph.D. in Biology from McMaster University. His past fish research took him to all five Great Lakes as well as the southern Great Plains. Seilheimer has spent more than 100 days on Lake Michigan commercial fishing boats since 2015. He lives in Manitowoc, WI where he enjoys spending time exploring the local coast with his family and setting out on long bike rides with no planned route.
