Candacraig are comprised of Sharon Cannings (vocals, keys, mandolin) and Martin Nicholls (guitar, cello). Originally actors, they have been composing dark, alternative music since 1992.
With performances at many of the leading prog festivals, including Danfest; HRH Prog; Fusion and an unforgettable feast for the eyes at Nene Valley, Candacraig are cementing themselves into the UK prog scene. The Old Rectory gig will afford the opportunity for a full evening of entertainment, including not only their own fine music, but a few of the rock covers that they play in their "paid work"! The evening promises to be a smorgasbord of music, delivered with style and panache.
