เพราะ 'ปิศาจ' ซ่อนอยู่ในรายละเอียด เราจึงขอชวนสังคมไทยมาร่วมกันสืบหาเรื่องราวของ 6 ตุลา ผ่านภาพถ่ายที่เพิ่งค้นพบใหม่โดยช่างภาพชาวไทย และยังไม่เคยเผยแพร่ต่อสาธารณะมาก่อน ภาพถ่ายคือหนึ่งในหลักฐานสำคัญที่บันทึกความรุนแรงจากรัฐและมวลชนช่วงวันที่ 6 ตุลาคม 2519 เป็นประจักษ์พยานต่อเหตุการณ์
บันทึกอารมณ์และประสบการณ์ของผู้ผ่านพ้นเหตุการณ์ในวันนั้น ภาพถ่าย 6 ตุลา กระจัดกระจายอยู่ตามสำนักงานหนังสือพิมพ์ สำนักข่าวต่างประเทศและบุคคล ส่วนใหญ่ยังไม่มีการจัดระบบ ไม่มีการจัดทำข้อมูล บางภาพไม่สามารถระบุสถานที่ถ่ายภาพที่แน่ชัด
เนื่องในวาระ 46 ปี เหตุการณ์ 6 ตุลาคม 2519 โครงการจัดตั้งพิพิธภัณฑ์ 6 ตุลา ร่วมกับ Common School และ มูลนิธิคณะก้าวหน้า - Progressive Movement ภูมิใจเสนอนิทรรศการ “6 ตุลา เผชิญหน้าปิศาจ | 6 October: Facing Demons”
ซึ่งเป็นการจัดแสดงภาพถ่ายชุดหนึ่งที่คัดสรรจากภาพถ่ายกว่า 1,000 ภาพที่ยังไม่เคยตีพิมพ์ต่อสาธารณะมาก่อน พร้อม กิจกรรมนำชมนิทรรศการและ เสวนาหลากหัวข้อตลอดเดือนตุลาคม ทุกสุดสัปดาห์

Demons are hidden in every detail. We would like to introduce audiences to explore a story of the 6 October massacre through a collection of photographs by Thai photographers that had never been published before. Photographs are evidence that record the government’s and people's use of violence during 6 October 1976. It is an important testimony of the event, an emotional record, and an experience of participants on that day.
Pictures of the 6 October 1976 massacre were dispersed to various newspaper publishers, international news, and individuals. Most of them were not documented and recorded properly and cannot be defined in their accurate location.
On the agenda of the 6 October massacre’s 46th remembrance, the Museum of October 6 with Common School and Foundation of Progressive Movement proudly present an exhibition “6 October: Facing Demons”, an exhibition of chosen photographs from more than a thousand pictures that never been published anywhere before along with various activities including exhibition tours and talks throughout the month.
