MOMOPHOBIA
momophobia is a 3 piece band from Charlotte, North Carolina. With hardcore, emo and shoegaze influences, Momophobia has created their own quick bass driven sound. The current lineup consists of Sam Howard (bass and vocals), Santiago Morales (guitar and vocals) and Grayson Gulley(drums). The band started in January of 2022 following a Jam session between Sam and Santiago. Throughout 2022 and 2023 momophobia maintained a loud local prescence in the charlotte area with many consistent local shows. In november of 2024 momophobia went back into the studio to record their debut EP “duality of dreams” featuring a variety of sounds including emo tracks like “prosthetics” or “4121” or even shoegazey ballads with “mariposa” and “feverinthecold”. Right now momophobia is focusing on promoting their released music and writing more while maintaining a strong presence in the charlotte and greater southeast.
