At age 22, Andi picked up an old acoustic guitar after she had her son so she could write her own songs and sing to her newborn. Even though she had been singing her whole life, singing while playing the guitar quickly went from a hobby to a passion. Andi wrote and wrote and then wrote some more. As the music and lyrics poured out of her, she performed across Southern Texas in festivals and fairs. Spending some time as a musician in the few years following, it never became full time. Her life as a single mom, raising her son and working full time kept her very busy. It was the life she wanted and loved with no regrets.
Andi was born and raised in the Houston area. Her Texas roots run deep. The love she has for the Texas Hill Country started at the age of 6 when she took her first trip to the Frio River. Although Andi has traveled and lived in other places throughout her adulthood, her goal was to get back to Texas and play her music!
In 2015, Andi moved back to Texas! After a quick trip to New Braunfels from North Dakota, where she lived at the time, she decided that New Braunfels needed to be her new home.
And after a visit to Gruene Hall where she watched local singer/songwriters perform, she knew without a doubt, she could come to Texas and perform her music again, only in big ways this time.
Today, this Texas native is performing full time across the central Texas and surrounding areas. She is making up for lost time and making a name for herself in big ways as her journey continues! She is currently in the studio recording with seasoned producer Tom Gillam and other talented Texas musicians! She, along with 3 talented girls (Alli Mattice, Kelany Brent and Kayla Jane) started a female quartet known as The Billie Jeans. The Billile Jeans have been performing together since November 2021 and has already started to sell out shows in the Central Texas area! Andi performs full time as a Solo, duo, trio or full band, depending on venue needs. Hire her for a big stage, a small acoustic stage or a private party! After spending 15 years as a drummer for several of Texas Country’s most accomplished singer-songwriters, Michael Kelton, armed with a slew of well-crafted, original songs, is making his move from the back of the stage up to the microphone at the front. Raised by a musical family in Austin, Texas, Kelton found life as a musician came naturally. His bass-playing father Noel is a founding member of Texas legends Johnny Dee & the Rocket 88’s, who Kelton found himself on stage with on more than one occasion.
Fifteen years on the road holding down the rhythm for some of Texas' most notable singer/songwriters - Zane Williams, Hayes Carll, Brian Keane, Mark McKinney, Matt Caldwell, Bri Bagwell and currently Pat Green - helped Kelton to reach a songwriting milestone of his own. In 2021, he secured two songwriting credits on Pat Green’s latest release.
“Working under the caliber of songwriters that I have has been a blessing and a curse,” said Kelton. “Although I was slowly soaking up their process, I was constantly comparing my work to theirs. That was frustrating at times but also challenged me to always do better.
