Join us for a day of learning how to record ancient, veteran and notable trees in Wales. Laura Shewring & Kirsten Manley from Coed Cadw, will provide guidance on how to recognise and record these living legends with hands on experience of adding the long-standing trees at Plas Tan y Bwlch in Maentwrog to the Ancient Tree Inventory.
You will learn:
• Tree species identification
• Tree form identification
• How to identify ancient and veteran features of trees
• How to measure record trees using the Ancient Tree Inventory
