Dia de los muertos. The day of the dead is an ancient tradition to Remember and Celebrate your ancestors and family that have passed away. It's a vibrant celebration steeped in food, flowers and art. Sugar Skulls are a very symbolic part of the two day celebration. In this class we will Use a Ceramic skull to Decorate Our Own Sugar Skull. We will be using several different mediums including acrylic paints, glitters, embelishments, etc. You will also learn about the history of the Tradition and some of the symbolism used on the Sugar Skulls and what they represent.
