The landscape of Marathon County has a fascinating story behind it. Senior lecturer in the UW-Stevens Point Department of Geography and Geology Lisa Siewert will discuss the geologic events that shaped the area, from glaciers and volcanoes, to ancient oceans. Join this UW-Stevens Point at Wausau lecture and find out where to find outcrops around Marathon County to explore where bedrock is exposed above the surface.HANK Talks, named for Hank the Husky mascot, will be streamed live beginning at 7 p.m. from the stage of the James F.
