ANCIENT FOREFATHERS' DAY

Join us for a day of celebration and remembrance as we, the Moorish Science Temple of America in Durham, honor our ancient forefathers. This event will take place on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 from 11 AM to 4 PM at 300 West Club Boulevard, Durham, NC 27704 (Northgate Park).

Experience the culture, traditions, and customs of our ancestors through various activities and performances. On this day, the Moors will display their colors, and Moorish Activities, Ancient, and Modern. The symbolism of Moorish Culture will be on display along with educational programs, etc. In this regard, the public will have a greater appreciation of our Moorish Society. Also on that day, the public, individuals, groups, and organizations, are permitted to display the colors of their forefathers because where there is unity, there is strength. There will be something for everyone!
