Join us at Valence House Museum on Sunday 27th July for a free, fun-filled day at our Ancient Abbey Festival.
Meet the residents of Barking Abbey, spanning over 900 years from 666AD - 1541AD. Watch fighting knights, have a dab at archery, meet the Abbesses, bow to the Kings and Queens, enjoy Abbey cookery and dance along with medieval musicians!
This event will also see the exciting launch of a new Abbey Archaeology Exhibition at Valence House!
Sunday 27th July, 11am - 4pm. FREE. Timetable of events to follow.
