With the 2026 Anchor Down Ultra just about one month away, we're excited to join our friends at the incredible 'Gansett Run Club for a special Anchor Down-themed community night.
Whether you're an Anchor Down veteran, preparing for your first ADU, or simply curious about what this crazy race in Rhode Island is all about, we'd love to have you join us.
Most importantly, this night is about bringing together the people who make Anchor Down what it is. The veterans. The first-timers. The dreamers. The people preparing to stare down 6, 12, or 24 hours this August under this year's theme: "FEAR NO MILE."
🏃 Join the weekly 'Gansett Run Club run on the East Bay Bike Path
👟 Meet the crew from HOKA, presenting sponsor of Anchor Down Ultra, who will have demo shoes available and be available to talk footwear, training, and the unique demands of ADU
🎤 Hear a brief welcome from Anchor Down MC Steven Blais, who will share a few words about the event, qualification, and what makes Anchor Down such a special part of Rhode Island's running community
🏴☠️ Calling all Anchor Down veterans: Wear your favorite ADU shirt, hoodie, jacket, or finisher gear from previous years so prospective runners and this year's competitors can identify you, ask questions, hear your stories, and learn from your experience
🗣️ Thinking about running Anchor Down someday? Training for this year's race? This is your chance to connect with veterans during the run and afterward at the brewery. Ask about training, race-day strategy, gear choices, pacing, nutrition, mistakes, breakthroughs, and everything in between

Anchor Down has always been about community first.
