Ancestral Medicines for Sleep, Lucid Dreaming and Mental Well Being
About this Event

Join us for a fascinating gathering to listen and engage with Dr. Shauheen Etminan, an esteemed ethnopharmacologist sharing the latest advances in the application of modern science to ancestral wisdom, resulting in a new class of psycho-active, and neuroprotective compounds tailored to assist with deeper sleep, lucid dreaming, and overall well being.

He and his team at Magi Labs are experienced biochemists, and neuroscientists dedicated to this area of study. They have undertaken a serious journey to reseach the key ingredients used ritually in sacred elixirs over the past 4,000 years by Eastern ancestors by Zoroastrian Priests in Persia and Doaist Shamans from China. Their goal has been to develop modern treatments for debilitating mental health disorders and nootropic supplements for mental well-being.

Attendees will take home a sampling of the products. Attendance is very limited.

Who were the Magi?

Magi were ancient Zoroastrian priests who participated in ecstatic shamanic practices by drinking a botanical inebriating potion called Haoma to delve into the world of the unconscious in their pursuit of otherworldly insights.

Magi Labs:

Magi was founded to build a team of scientists and collaborators to bring the wisdom of their reseach in nootropics into a collection of remedies and services. Magi™ brings to you the wisdom of our Eastern ancestors to help restore the mind.

About the Research:

The use of medicinal plants for cognitive enhancement and spiritual enlightenment holds a storied tradition going back more than 5,000 years in each of the world’s oldest civilizations, from the fertile crescent of Ancient Egypt & Mesopotamia to the Indus Valley and Ancient China in the Far East. The Zoroastrian Priests of Ancient Iran sought to better their minds through the ritualistic consumption of Haoma, the extracted Elixir of Truth and Immortality, for accessing deep personal insights. The team at Magi has been able to decipher the ancient potion’s formulation(s) and apply rigorous neuroscience to develop intentional nootropic supplements for mindfulness and longevity.

About the Products:

Extracted from the sacred Iranian plant, Espand (Peganum Harmala), Magi’s nootropics contain a group of mind-altering and dream-inducing compounds called beta-carbolines, also present in the Amazonian psychoactive brew, Ayahuasca. Their flagship products are their meditation and lucid dreaming supplements, which along with all their other products, are legal to purchase and consume across the US.

Magi Nootropics’ Beta-Carbolines are generally regarded as safe (GRAS) and not scheduled by the US DEA under the Controlled Substances Act.

About: Shauheen Etminan, PhD

Shauheen Etminan is an intuitive activator, inventor, and repeat founder with a passion for creating impactful products and platforms that embody wellness, abundance, authenticity, and reciprocity. He is an extraction technology expert and a psychedelics researcher who has been searching in the Zoroastrian ancient texts for the ancestral use of psychoactive plants for holistic wellness and otherworldly journeys in the East. By applying advanced scientific tools in chemistry, neurophysiology, and psychopharmacology to the study of the Iranian inebriating elixir of truth, Haoma, his team discovered neurological health properties in beta-carbolines and developed Magi ancestral nootropic supplements.

Shauheen holds an MSc and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary. He is a Sufi mystic who has been practicing whirling meditation for years.
