**Saturday, June 20th | 11:30 AM**Join Ancestral Echoes for a Juneteenth remembrance gathering honoring Black ancestors laid to rest at Eastern Promenade Cemetery.
Together, we will gather in reflection and community to speak their names, offer song and remembrance, and lay flowers in tribute to those whose lives and contributions helped shape Maine’s history.
This act of remembrance grounds our Juneteenth observance in local history, honoring stories that have too often gone unrecognized.
Following the ceremony, participants will depart in a second line-style procession led by live music as we move forward in collective remembrance and celebration.
All are welcome to join in this moment of reflection, honor, and community.
