Join Shay & Kai for a cozy, hands-on gathering over tea as we explore the components, symbolism, and personal meaning behind ancestral altars. We’ll talk about different ways an altar can be created, what you might choose to place upon it, and how to thoughtfully incorporate objects, offerings, photographs, candles, and other meaningful items.
You’ll also have the opportunity to create a small altar item to take home, such as a dressed candle or cleansing salt, while learning how to approach these practices with intention and care.
Come sip some tea, ask questions, share stories, and discover ways to create an altar that feels personal and meaningful to you.
Tea will be provided, along with materials for the hands-on activity
