Anatomy & Beyond Exhibition3 October 2024 – 16 Dec 2024
We are absolutely elated to announce that The Old Operating Theatre Museum & Herb Garret will be hosting an extraordinary exhibition as part of the London 2024 A&B Conference! It’s a moment of great pride and excitement for us to open our doors to such a remarkable gathering of international and renowned artists, who will bring their visionary work to life within our historic walls.
We’ll kick off this exceptional exhibition on 3 October 2024. As a museum that uniquely blends the past, present, and future, we couldn’t be more perfectly positioned to explore the compelling themes of this exhibition.
This exhibition is a thrilling opportunity to dive deep into the ever-shifting dynamics of the body, mind, and the world we inhabit. From the revolutionary ideas of Galen and Vesalius, we’ll journey through the scientific and philosophical landscapes that have shaped our understanding of corporality, consciousness, humanity, and transhumanism.
We’re buzzing with anticipation as we prepare to host this global dialogue, where experts and creative minds will converge to explore the mysteries of life, death, and the very essence of reality. Join us in this exhilarating exploration and become a vital part of a conversation that bridges history and imagination, illuminating the endless possibilities of what it means to be human!
The museum will host an Open View on 23 October as part of the Medi-Culture Festival supported by Team London Bridge. Stay tuned via socials as tickets will be available via their booking system later this month.
