Analogue Animation Workshop: Text!
About this Event
Have you ever thought about how Titles are made? Titles for film, titles for TV or even for branding. Some really interesting creative work is happening in this field.
More and more studios are using stop-motion and analogue animated processes to create really gorgeous and visually rich texts.
And this is exactly what I’m going to be going over in my next workshop!
We’ll be using a variety of materials to explore how to bring text to life!
And it doesn’t have to be a Title! I know not everyone is a indie filmmaker, maybe you're a writer, an artist, or just someone with something to say...
All are welcome at this new series of analogue and print animation workshops with director Miranda Peyton Jones.
Each session, learn, experiment and have fun with different hands-on animation techniques! A space to try out new ideas and meet fellow experimenters. Expect to come away with a piece of moving image and your printed materials.
No previous animation or drawing skills necessary, all are welcome.
9th June:
This class we will be using a range of materials, including paper cut-outs, charcoal and more to create hand-crafted text animations.
