We are LGBTQIA+ friendly with an emphasis on inclusivity and harnessing the power of embracing a stranger.

the legendary La Nacional Spanish tapas bar & restaurant.

All the way from Buenos Aires, Anahí Carballo is visiting NYC to teach and perform!
Anahí Carballo is an Argentine Tango and Folklore dancer, teacher, director, and choreographer. She is the creator of the world's first and only Queer Tango Studio, "Estudio Tango Cuir." For ten years, she directed the first and only all-female Tango company, "Compañía Tango Entre Mujeres." She currently teaches Tango at the National University of the Arts. She is a provincial Malambo champion and a semifinalist in the World Tango Championship. She is the author of the Queer Tango works "Vinculadas" and "Otro Modo" and co-author of "Nuestra Historia." She is an internationally renowned teacher with over 20 years of experience.
