Anaheim Colony Historic District: Heart of OC's Pa

Join us on our exciting new tour of the downtown Anaheim Colony Historic District. We will start at the Promenade (Center Street), which hosts unique displays of public art as well as Anaheim ICE rink (where the Anaheim Ducks currently practice), a masterpiece designed by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry. Next, we will walk past Muzeo museum, which originally was built as a Carnegie Library in 1908 and then opened as a museum in 1909. The museum showcases some of the finest artwork and historical artifacts of Orange County.

Next, we will walk past Farmer's Park to sample fresh foods at the historic Anaheim Packing House (formerly Sunkist Citrus Packing House). Originally called the Sunkist Packing House, it was built in 1919 to package and distribute fruit from local orange groves that gave Orange County its name. In 2014, it was converted to the Anaheim Packing House food hall, hosting various restaurants and eating establishments, similar in style to DTLA's Grand Central Market.

On our final stop, we will swing by Modern Times Beer, recently opened as a brewery in August. It features a pool, an upper deck patio, along with many areas with outdoor seating within its complex.

Tour is hosted by Mitesh, a life-long resident of Orange County and nature/touring aficionado. When not touring, Mitesh works part-time as a media network engineer and real estate investor. Mitesh holds a BA in business administration from Cal-State Fullerton.
