Help us pick up trash and enjoy beautiful views with our plogging cleanup along the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail! Plogging is the practice of cleaning up litter while jogging (though jogging is not required to participate). We will be covering a 2-mile stretch between Poplar Point and the Anacostia Park Roller Skating Rink!
Schedule:
9:30 AM – Registration and light refreshments
10:00 AM – Welcome and safety talk
10:30 AM – Plogging begins!
Rain or Shine. All supplies provided. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothing you can get dirty that will protect you from the brush.
