It is with heavy hearts that we announce that An Occasion for the Arts 2022 has been cancelled as a result of Hurricane Ian. This includes all AOFTA events from Friday, September 30-Sunday, October 2. As you all know, Hurricane Ian is approaching the East Coast, and while we don’t know the exact impact it could have on Williamsburg and our surrounding region, we do know that it will impact us in some way. To help ensure the safety of our community, the artists, vendors and all who support AOFTA, the Executive Board of AOFTA decided to cancel the 2022 event. Thank you all for supporting the arts in our community. We look forward to planning Williamsburg’s premier arts festival in 2023!
