An Introduction to ‘Freedom from Violence and Abuse’: the national strategy

A half -day workshop to introduce what the strategy covers, and to examine the Action Plan through which the government aims to achieve the target of halving VAWG by the end of this parliament.

This is a free interactive workshop. It will enable you to

• Realise the scope and structure of the government strategy, giving you an overview of the sections and detailed understanding of one area of the strategy
• Drill down into one of the four pillars which underpin the Action Plan and get a comprehensive view of the three other pillars
• Take-away notes to support you sharing information on the strategy and helping to inform your work
• Network with others who understand the need to reduce VAWG in Milton Keynes
• Reflect on the part you and your group / organisation can play in making the city safer
