About this Event
An Introduction to the World of Bumblebees!
In this free introductory session, we will explore the wonderful world of bumblebees!
Join us first for a fun, interesting talk all about bumblebees inside the Crowne Plaza hotel. You will learn about the differences between bumblebees and honeybees, why bumblebees are so important, and some simple actions we can all take to help our struggling bumblebees.
For the second half of the session, we will then go out and explore some green spaces in Birmingham city centre, such as the City Centre Gardens, and try to spot wild bumblebees on a bumblebee safari!
Children must be accompanied by adults. Come dressed in suitable clothing for a walk outdoors.
