An Introduction to tDCS: Practical Workshop - Melbourne

In this practical workshop, participants will be given ample time to test and experience tDCS technologies following evidence-based protocols.

This is a practical hands-on training day for professionals looking to apply tDCS in their own practice. Participants will work in groups to gain practical experience in tDCS electrode placement across different montages (e.g. Depression, Pain, Addiction/Craving) and configuring protocol settings. The Workshop will cover two different tDCS systems with instructions on session delivery and safety.

Workshops are hosted by Dr Trevor Brown (Senior Neuroscientist, neuroCare Group Australia) and colleagues.

PLEASE NOTE: Before attending this practical workshop, participants are expected to have completed the online course on our neurocare academy LMS site: An Introduction to tDCS. This self-paced course covers the history of tDCS, its effects in psychiatric disorders and its implications in clinical practice.
