An Introduction to Signwriting, 2 Day Course
Discover the art of traditional signwriting in this fun and creative 2-day course at Ebberston Studios.
Learn the basics of lettering, brush techniques, layout, and design while creating your own hand-painted sign to take home with up to 2 words.
During the first day Fred Worthington will teach you how to get going with the alphabet, using a mahl stick, plotting out letters, brush stroke techniques and plenty of practicing.
On day 2 your will have a short recap from day 1. Then you will start plotting out your sign of one or two words. With Fred's guidance and expertise you will make a simple sign to take home as well as a set of the alphabet so you can continue your practice.
A wonderful opportunity to learn a timeless craft, meet like-minded people, and enjoy a creative 2 days in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Friday 2nd October and Saturday 3rd October at 10am until 4pm costing £160- which includes all materials and equipment.
