Move Better, Feel Better, Stay Active: An Introduction to Myofascial Release
At Restore Thrive, we’re always looking for ways to help you get more out of your recovery and stay active long after your time with us. That’s why we’re excited to give our clients the chance to meet one of our trusted partners, Jeff Dailey of InDepth Myofascial Release.
Jeff has worked alongside our physical therapists to support several Restore Thrive clients, using myofascial release as a complement to their PT treatment. We’ve also seen his work up close: our own Dr. Tim has worked with Jeff for the past four years. Through Tim's time training and playing baseball, Jeff’s work has helped him recover faster and resolve a range of mobility issues.
In this free workshop, Jeff will explain what myofascial release is, how it works, and who it can help. He’ll also demonstrate some of the techniques he uses with clients.
What is myofascial release?
Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and links your muscles, bones, and organs. When it becomes tight or restricted, it can contribute to pain, stiffness, and limited movement. Myofascial release (MFR) uses hands-on and instrument-assisted techniques to work with this tissue, with the goals of reducing pain and improving mobility.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how MFR can help with:
- General mobility and flexibility
- Specific aches and pains that keep coming back
- Staying active, whether you’re training for a sport, getting back into exercise, or simply want to keep moving comfortably as you age
MFR isn’t just for athletes. It can be adapted for every age and ability level.
